Front of House Manager

The Front of House Manager plays a pivotal role in ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of our front-of-house dining areas with the assistance of the FOH Supervisors. This position requires strong leadership, excellent communication skills and a passion for delivering excellent customer service skills.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Oversee all Front-of-house operations including bookings, service and supervision of staff.
- Train, mentor, and supervisor FOH staff to uphold high service standards.
- Maximise revenue through table turnover strategies and service efficiency.
- Ensure full compliance with hygiene, RSA and OH&S regulations.
- Handle customer feedback and resolve complaints professionally and promptly.
- Liaise with the kitchen team for smooth service and order coordination.
- Monitor inventory and assist with stocktaking and ordering processes.
- Conduct performance reviews and staff development sessions with HR Support.
Qualifications and Certifications:
- Current RSA Certificate.
- Approved Manager Certificate and Card.
- Barista Certificate is desirable but not required.
- A valid police check is required for this role to ensure workplace safety.
Experience and Skills:
- Minimum two years as a Front of House Manager or three years Front of House experience.
- Proficiency in restaurant management systems and POS.
- Strong food and beverage knowledge with awareness of industry trends.
- Strong Barits Skills and Cocktail making skills.
- Ability to work a rotating roster across weekdays, weekends and evening shifts.
